The DIVERSITY EMERGING COLLECTIVE is a group of like-minded individuals involved in Canada’s media and music industry. With cities like Toronto and Vancouver that have over 50% of their population coming from a diverse cultural background – DECollective is dedicated to assist our media in recognizing and reflecting the people and the artists that live and work in each of our cities. Our objective is to create opportunities for Canada’s diverse and emerging artists and musicians by working closely with the CRTC, industry professionals and the private sector to create a network of media outlets and events across the country to bring to the public’s attention the untapped and diverse talent living within our own borders.
